Top 5 Dining and Restaurants Apps Performance in Netherlands Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the top five dining and restaurant applications in the Netherlands displayed a range of performance trends across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

McDonald’s - Non-US saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 20.5K in late December, peaking at approximately 26.9K in the week of January 23, and then gradually declining to about 12.5K by the end of March. The app maintained a strong presence in terms of weekly active users, beginning the quarter with 345.2K users and experiencing a slight decrease to approximately 275.1K by the end of the quarter.

Domino's Pizza Nederland experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads, notably reaching 60.6K in the week of January 30. This was followed by a more stable range of downloads, fluctuating between 3.6K and 16K towards the end of the quarter. Active user trends for the app showed a sharp increase to 97K in late January, before stabilizing around the 30K to 54.6K range in subsequent weeks.

KFC Nederland exhibited a steady decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting from 3.8K in late December and dropping to approximately 3.3K by the end of March. Active users for KFC Nederland also showed a downward trend, starting at 14K and slightly declining to around 14.6K towards the end of the quarter.

Zenchef (formerly Table) maintained relatively consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging from about 2.9K to 5.7K. Weekly active users for Zenchef showed a slight upward trend, ending the quarter with approximately 22.3K users.

't Zusje also displayed stable download figures, starting at around 2.8K in late December and fluctuating between 3.5K and 4.6K throughout the quarter. Active user data for 't Zusje was not available.
